Mostra de Água das Casas is a community-based artistic initiative promoted by Mundo em Reboliço and curated by Filipa Francisco. Between July and October, the project brings together artists and local residents through workshops, performances, and collective creative processes.

This edition features José Martinho Gaspar, Anacleto Guia, Miguel Canaverde, Susana Domingos Gaspar and the community theatre group from Aldeia do Souto. The programme includes a participatory film, a dance solo, a mural painting, a community theatre performance and the launch of a book based on local stories.

Activities take place across different venues in the village of Água das Casas, the school of Matagosinha and the city of Abrantes, including the Municipal Library and the Iberian Museum of Archaeology and Art (MIAA).

Following a first edition in 2024 – the “Year Zero” – this new cycle deepens the project’s commitment to rural territories and collective creation. It reinforces the belief that art can emerge from within the places we inhabit, through time, care and close listening.
